Black Lives Matter Movement Continues

The world is still standing strong together. Today there continues to be movements, protests and marches for all of the innocent black lives that we have lost.

#BlackLivesMatter is currently a worldwide movement. Currently in the UK there is a massive march going on fighting for the justice of George Floyd. Also in Washington, D.C., there has been a large mural in big yellow letters that reads 'Black Lives Matter' on a street that leads to the White House. According to NBC Washington, the mural reads so large that it stretches two blocks and can only be seen, fully, from a high view. Today in D.C. they are expected to have the city's largest protest since the murder of George Floyd.

Not only have cities and countries been taking action for the justice of Black lives but now everyone's all time favorite muppet, Elmo has spoken up. Earlier today, Elmo and his dad Louie discussed what racism is and the meaning for protesting.

The world is looking a lot different these days and all that can be hoped for is everyone to stay safe and keep the protests peaceful.
